Your State’s Attorney General Can Help You Fight Unscrupulous Creditors or Collection Agencies

If you ever have problems with creditors or collection agencies because you feel you are being treated unfairly, then you should not hesitate to contact your state’s Attorney General’s Office.  The State Attorney General is an advocate for the consumer and the general public, especially in the issues regarding credit.

The State Attorney General’s (AG) office can give you advice on state law, statutes, and any matter of law regarding your rights as a consumer and actions you can take as a consumer against creditors.  The Attorney General can also show you how you can get in touch with the Consumer Protection Agency.

So, again, if you find yourself being treated unfairly by a creditor, collection agencies, or that you’re on the verge of bankruptcy or have a legal question…….then do not hesitate to call your Attorney General.
